2010 CAA Football…You Better Be Ready!!!

Spring practices are winding down for us here at Rhode Island. Today was our last full padded practice until our spring game this coming Saturday. These past four weeks have revealed so much about who we are as a team and where are going as a program.
We have two intra-squad scrimmages behind us already this spring. The first scrimmage seemed to be dominated by the offense. However, this past week the defense battled back and controlled the offense during the second scrimmage. It is incredible to see the bitterness between the two sides of the ball on the field. The environment is very hostile which helps generate competitiveness.
All of us are extremely excited for Saturday to come and for us to show just how much progress we have made as a team. Every player is focused on perfecting new techniques and schemes learned during this spring and earn a starting position going into summer. I am sure our team will ride the momentum created during this spring to help us work even harder towards this upcoming fall.
Come support Rhody football at Meade Stadium this Saturday at 11:00 A.M.!
