2010 CAA Football Preseason Camp Update — 8.6

Aug 6, 2010, 9:59 AM EDT

A handful of squads have checked into the dorms, taken preseason headshots, been fitted for helmets, pads and cleats, been through the pre-practice meetings and now it is time to get between the white lines.  Richmond and Towson have filed some practice recaps below, which include videos and photo galleries.

A handful of other league squads are reporting to campus today and even Saturday and will hit the practice fields before the week begins Monday.  Football is in the air and CAAFootballblog.com is hoping to capture some of the preseason excitement from around the league.

Now on to the meat of our post!

New Hampshire reports Sunday and will begin practice Monday, but they just released a behind-the-scenes video from Coach McDonnell, Sean Jellison and Dino Vasso’s trip to CAA Football Media Day in Baltimore last week.  Check that out below.

Richmond’s Preseason Camp Central page, sponsored by NTelos Wireless, has several bits of info from Thursday’s practice.  Logon or click these links for photos, a recap and a couple notes on practice.  We also dropped in their video recap of day one.

Towson opened practices Thursday as well.  Here is a recap of the day and below is a video interview with the Tigers’ now second-year head coach Rob Ambrose.

We hope you enjoy our coverage of the 2010 Preseason.  We are only as good as the schools’ personnel who feed us this info, as well as our fans.  Don’t hesitate to hit the comment link below and let us know what you want to see included in our recaps.  Feel free to pass our link along to your friends.
