Several squads will be holding preseason scrimmages this afternoon, most of which are open to the public so be sure and get out to see how your favorite CAA Football squad is looking this preseason. Let’s get into the news from Friday’s camps.
Delaware posted a recap of its 2010 Media Day. Click here to read about the day. The Blue Hens are one of the league teams holding an open scrimmage this afternoon at the newly surfaced UD Stadium. Action will get underway today around 4:15 p.m.
James Madison held its 2010 Media Day event Friday. Below is the video from Head Coach Mickey Matthews’ press conference.
Maine will also be holding an open scrimmage this afternoon beginning at 3:15 p.m. The Black Bears posted a couple video recaps of yesterday’s practices. Richmond posted a blog update from Friday’s practice on it Training Camp Central page, presented by NTelos Wireless. The Spiders are also holding an open scrimmage Saturday afternoon at Robins Stadium. Action is set to get underway around 2:30 p.m.
Towson is holding a scrimmage this afternoon, but it is unknown whether the event is open to the public. CAA Football gained knowledge of the event after a tweet from Tiger Head Coach Rob Ambrose (@Coach_Ambrose). All Tiger fans should follow Coach Ambrose!
