2010 CAA Football Preseason Camp Update — 8.22

Scrimmages are the word of the day today on the Preseason Camp Update.  Several CAA Football squads took part in the intra-squad competition Saturday and will now start moving toward gameweek prep and the introduction of classes into the practice schedules.

James Madison was one of the league squads which held a scrimmage Saturday.  The Dukes also held a “Meet the Dukes” Day in conjunction with the scrimmage.  Take a look below at some of the post-scrimmage interviews.

Maine is holding an open scrimmage this afternoon and caught up with Brent Rice for a player video blog.  Click here to be taken to the Black Bears’ website to find the video in the small player on the right-hand side of the page.  You will also find details about today’s scrimmage there as well.

UMass held a scrimmage Saturday morning and posted several pieces of info from the competition on it Training Camp Central page.  Watch the recap video below or click here for a photo gallery or a written recap.

Rhode Island took part in an intra-squad scrimmage Saturday and produced some post-scrimmage interviews.  You can watch those below or go to the Rams’ Training Camp Central page to get more info.

Richmond held a scrimmage at Robins Stadium Saturday and included several links to recap the action on the Training Camp Central Page, presented by NTelos Wireless.  Included in the recap are three videos shown below and a written recap of the scrimmage.

William and Mary rounded out the scrimmage schedule for the league last night.  The Tribe produced a highlight package from the event and had a great recap of scrimmage as well as part of its Fall Camp Headquarters page.
