2010 CAA Football Preseason Camp Update — 8.26

Aug 26, 2010, 9:16 AM EST

We are slowly beginning to wind down our Preseason Camp Updates on the blog as each school begins to wind down training camps and move into gameweek mode.  The season begins a week from tonight!

We updated our Television schedule for the 2010 seasonclick here for details.  Our television partners have firmed up several coverages planned for our 29 games on the slate.  We always seem to go back and forth with the Big Sky on who has the biggest TV package…they obviously have more games on TV and we certainly won’t argue that.  In terms of size our games reach far more people…in fact on average each of our conference games will reach close to 13 million homes across the country.  Compare that number to a single game in the Big Sky’s TV package…that is why we think ours is the biggest.  Click here to see where our games will be televised.

Congrats to our 10T/10D winners from yesterday’s Richmond Spider’s trivia…Daniel Bonsall (@ACBonsall) won the UR mini-helmet, while Reilly Moore (@reillymoore) picked up the regular prize pack.  Yesterday’s question was:  What was Richmond’s combined league record when current Spider head coach Latrell Scott was an assistant at Richmond…answer: 17-7.

Later today it is Delaware’s turn on the 10T/10D…pay attention to the blog and to CAASports.com for your chance to win a Blue Hen mini-helmet!  Answers can be submitted via the comment link at the bottom of the post or by following us on Twitter and sending us an @reply

Be sure to stay tuned to our Digg page…lots of great changes on Digg, but there are a few bugs to work out through the redesign.  Hopefully all will be taken care of as we move into the season.  We are working on it to remedy the widget to the right…also hoping for the opportunity to encourage you to follow our Digg profile so you can get your CAA Football news delivered!  Stay tuned!
