How about his note…in doing some research Towson media relations director Dan O’Connell found that this weekend’s Maine/Rhode Island contest is the first conference game featuring two unranked squads. Just proof to the strength in the league that it took until week eight for it to happen. How about the fact that both the Rams and Black Bears have knocked off New Hampshire, currently ranked No. 10!
Massachusetts is gearing up for the Colonial Clash this weekend at Gillette Stadium. Take a look at all of the preview videos below as well as a video profile on Julian Talley.
The Minutemen also posted some recap videos from last weekend’s events. The football program took part in a walk for juvenile diabetes. Also the UMass band paid tribute to its late band director George Parks during halftime of the Richmond game. Watch those below.
New Hampshire, which will face UMass this weekend in the first-ever college game played at Gillette, posted a recap video of last weekend’s win at James Madison. The Wildcats also assembled a highlight video for one of the league’s defensive players of the week in sophomore linebacker Matt Evans.

Richmond, after true freshman Montel White led the Spiders on a game-winning drive late in the UMass game, went back to the SpiderTV vault and unearthed their win over Northern Iowa in the 2008 National Semifinals. Then-quarterback Eric Ward led Richmond on a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter in that contest as well. Richmond also held its weekly presser and those two videos are below.
Towson dropped a video on YouTube featuring the mascot game from halftime of its contest against James Madison. Pretty entertaining stuff.
William and Mary held its weekly press luncheon to preview its Top-5 matchup this weekend against Delaware. Watch the video below.
