2010 CAA Football Top-10 Plays of the Year

Nov 19, 2010, 5:20 PM EST

We asked for your help and got tremendous responses…even greater appreciation in that all schools were represented via a response by way of twitter, this blog and email.  We compiled the list of nominations and also took some of our favorites and came up with this list of Top 10.  Take a look and don’t be shy to let us know if we missed one.  Did we put them in the wrong order?  Heck, maybe you like what we did!  If you like what we did then take our video and post it everywhere you see fit!  The comment link is below…go ahead, don’t be shy — use it!!

Now that you have watched our Top 10, we want to you make your Top 10.  Use the poll below or to the right and rank the plays according to what you believe is 1-10.  The poll will close Sunday at 9:45 a.m., 15 minutes before CAA Football learns its fate in the NCAA Division I Football Championships on ESPNU.

Thanks again to all those who helped pick plays and an even bigger thanks to you for frequenting our blog and ranking what we feel were the top plays this season.

Be sure to watch the final weekend’s games on television as well, where this same Top-10 Plays of the Year feature will air.  Delaware will try to claim the CAA Football title outright at noon when it hosts Villanova on The Comcast Network…the Wildcats will be playing for their playoff lives.

William and Mary and Richmond square off for the Capital Cup at 3:30 p.m., on The Comcast Network and Cox 11 in Williamsburg.  With a win the Tribe can most likely look forward to a Top-5 seed in the bracket, while a win for Richmond should mean a trip to the playoffs for first-year head coach Latrell Scott.

We will all find out what teams will go where and when in the playoffs, Sunday at 10 a.m. (ET) on ESPNU!
