If you haven’t done it already be sure to scan the new QR (quick response) code in the top right corner of the page or below.  It is the latest venture into the world of new media.  Look for our ad in the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship program early next month as well!

Directions:  Using your smartphone, photograph the code below to see all the ways you can interact with CAA Football.  If you don’t have a QR reader on your phone, visit your app store and search “qr reader” to download one.

We also hope by now you found our new facebook page.  Be sure to logon and become a fan now.  We will share tons of stories from around the league there and once we build a bigger fan base we’ll integrate some of your thoughts and suggestions in our everyday coverage.

On to some of the news that broke around the league since our last post.  We released our end-of-the-year notes packet along with all our All-CAA Football videos.  Let us know what you thought of them by commenting below or go to our facebook page and comment on the videos there.  We want to know.

There were a few coaching announcements made during the month of February.  UMass defensive coordinator Keith Dudzinski moved on to coach the inside linebackers at the University of Maryland.  Richmond hired Zac Lowe to replace Devin Fitzsimmons as the Spiders’ tight ends coach.

Rhode Island linebacker Matt Hansen picked up the Word Unlimited Athlete of the Year honor this past week.  Another former Ram, quarterback Derek Cassidy, is going to compete in the (AFL) New Orleans’ VooDoo camp prior to the season.

Towson released its 2011 schedule earlier this month adding to a list of other CAA Football schools which have finalized 2011.  The Tigers will play at Maryland this coming season.  Towson also posted a video produced during its winter training sessions.  Take a look at that below.
