Looking forward to this media event and excited that it is on ESPN3. Maybe you can ask JMU's Roane Babington on the QB situation, as well as how good the offense is going to be this year.

On the defensive side, with the loss of several key players, who is able to fill those positions and is there going to be a dropoff in the defense?

How come Nova has no athletes attending media day?

How is ODU's normally high octane offense preparing for the upcoming season against the stingy defenses CAA teams are known for?

    On Nova:

We do not require our programs bring student-athletes to media day. Both Villanova and Maine have chosen not to this year, and both programs have not brought student-athlete for a couple-straight years now.

    On the ODU question:

Thanks for the question. Be sure to watch the show and follow along here on the blog to see if and how we incorporate your question in the show.

    Thanks for the comments.

We're looking forward to media day!

How much will New Hampshire's defense be affected by returning only five starters from last year's unit? They should do more than capably with LB Matt Evans and DL Brian McNally coming back, but half the starting defense is gone. Who can we expect to see step up, especially in the defensive backfield?

Will there be a schedule breakdown of the order in which schools will be made available to the media's main coverage (i.e. ESPN3)? For those of us who can't spend the entire day watching, but want to be sure to catch our favorite team.

Also, will a replay of the days coverage be made available?

    at VBR:

Thanks for the question. Be sure to watch the show on ESPN3 and also follow along here on the blog as we may use your question as a topic of discussion with our fans.

in regards to a schedule of Media Day Live and any archiving: Check the release posted on entitled Media Day Central. We had to confirm some attendees late last night, but now have a schedule for you to refer to for the show (keep in mind all times are approximate given interview length, etc.). ESPN3 will archive the show as long as a month, at which point we will then archive each segment of the show on and the 2011 CAA Football Pressbox. Look for a full recap of Media Day here Thursday afternoon where we plan to post links to the archive and promise to have further details.

    Thanks for the comments.

    Coach Keeler,

How do you expect your team to respond after a terrific season, coming so close to a championship, but to have experienced such a painful loss?

    For Commissioner Yeager:

What's the status of talks about potential new conference members such as Charlotte specifically, and CAA expansion in general?

Just a question for all the CAA student athletes- What CAA stadium (other than your own) do you get most pumped to play in?

How aweful is the guy interviewing the head coaches? He's terrible. So bad that I had to stop watching. And stop talking about the weather! Its hot, everyone knows that and its lame to keep asking and commenting about it. If you want to say something and talk about something other than football it would be much more interesting to learn about each coach individually. Maybe try asking each coach about indivisual interests or try to gain insight into each coach's personality or leadership style or at least get them talking more than the announcer who was terrible!
    Thanks, Go 'Hoos.
