#CAAFB Boasts Six Ranked Team In the 2011 Final Polls

Jan 11, 2012, 5:03 PM EST

For just the second time in CAA Football history the league had six among a season’s final Top 25.  Maine, Towson and Old Dominion all appear among the final Top 10.

The last time CAA Football ended a season with six among the Top 25 was 2008 following Richmond’s National Championship win over Montana.  The league boasted four among the Top 10 and three more teams ranked than any other conference in the country.

The league extends its streak to 14-straight weeks six or more squads among the Top 25.  Over the last five years no league in the country can boast having six or more teams ranked.
