Conference Trio Head to NFL Combine

Three standouts from around CAA Football will join a crop of 333 top pro prospects on one of the postseason’s most prominent stages when they take part in this month’s NFL Scouting Combine. New Hampshire DT Jared Smith, James Madison OL Earl Watford and William and Mary CB B.W. Webb will represent the league at the invitation-only event, which will be held from Feb. 23-26 in Indianapolis and air on the NFL Network.

The Combine is essentially a four-day job interview of sorts in which players perform a series of mental and physical tests as a means of evaluation by the NFL’s top executives, coaches, scouts and medical personnel ahead of April’s NFL Draft.
